We have 14 recliner chairs available for patients. To give you an idea of our open area here is a view of 4 chairs, each of these have their own TV. We are an open area that encourages conversations between patients as well as with the staff. The area is limited in the space availability for multiple family members at each chair side. We encourage family to be part of the team. If space is at a premium on certain days it is hard for family to stay at the chair side and for that reason family are encouraged to visit their loved one as often as they would like between the treatment area and the waiting room across the hall.

Another view of other recliners in the Treatment Area, these have no TV attachments and patients refer to it as the "quiet room". This is also an open area and within easy reach of nursing personnel at any time during treatment.

The Oncology Treatment Center also has 8 beds with privacy curtains. Some patients require a bed due to physical limitations or to provide a more comfortable atmosphere for extended treatments. Beds are not usually assigned and are utilized on a first come basis. We try to accommodate our patients' needs. Some patients may find they are in the Treatment Facility for more than 4 hours and prefer a chance to lie down and perhaps enjoy a short rest period.
